Prefix help

1. Search field

There is a search box on the page that allows you to search for information about prefixes.

Enter the prefix you want to search for in this field. The prefix can be partial (e.g. 'OK') or full (e.g. 'OK1'). Of course, it is also possible to enter the entire call sign (e.g. 'OK1KKY'), in which case you can use the links at the bottom of the results.

2. Search results

The search results are displayed in the table below, which contains the following information:

STATE: Displays the name of the country which the prefix belongs to
FLAG: It shows the national symbol in the form of a flag
ITU: Displays the ITU code. Used in the IARU HF contest
CQ: Displays the CQ code of the zone. Used in the CQ WW contest
DXCC: Displays the code Code DXCC
*QRZ.COM: Link to QRZ.COM for more callsign information
*QRZCQ.COM: Link to QRZCQ.COM for more callsign information
*EQSL.CC: Link to EQSL.CC for more callsign information
MORE INFO: Link to the page contains additional information about the state
* The entered text that is found in the search is always inserted into the link.
And the entire call sign must be entered.

3. If the search is not performed

If you do not receive any results after entering the prefix, it may mean that:

The prefix is incomplete or incorrect.
The prefix is not in the database of available data.
A technical problem has occurred.

In case of a problem, please contact us via the form on the Contact tab.

4. Prefix table

All prefixes can be displayed in a table.

Below the table there is a button to download all prefixes to PDF.
